Biography
Dr. Candice Laney brings more than two decades of clinical expertise to her role as
associate professor at Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ. She is passionate about guiding
and inspiring the next generation of nurses. Her diverse background includes leadership
and direct care experience in public health, home health, geriatrics, and peri-operative
settings. Dr. Laney earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice through a dual enrolled
program with Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ and UNC Charlotte. As a Certified Nurse Educator
(CNE) recognized by the National League for Nursing, she is dedicated to advancing
excellence in nursing education.<br>Dr. Laney is actively engaged in the nursing community,
participating in organizations such as Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society
of Nursing and PHI KAPPA PHI Honor Society. She collaborates with the National League
for Nursing sharing her knowledge and supporting initiatives that enhance professional
development. Through her involvement, Dr. Laney helps mentor aspiring nurses and contributes
to the advancement of nursing excellence.
