Biography

I have been a speech language pathologist since 2006 and have worked in a variety of settings with a variety of populations. I have worked at 蘑菇短视频since 2017 and love being a Catamount! I especially enjoy focusing on work with adults diagnosed with neurogenic communication disorders. I help facilitate the aphasia support group and I am working toward my PhD.

Teaching Interests

I am teaching undergraduate and graduate classes. I teach Introduction to Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD 270), Adult Speech and Language Disorders (CSD 470), Speech Science (CSD 372), and the graduate course Adult Language Disorders (CSD 672).

Research Interests

adult neurogenic disorders, aphasia, mental health, student resilience, self-efficacy, neuroplasticity, trauma and trauma-informed care
