Research Interests
Dr. Schrodt's research focuses on community-based models and expanding the reach of exercise programs for older adults and persons with neuromuscular conditions. She is recently received a grant from the Parkinson’s Foundation to implement curricular enhancements, community outreach, and exercise program assessment into PT education. Dr. Schrodt also collaborates with the NC Center for Health and Wellness on a federally funded grant to embed evidence-based fall prevention programs into clinical delivery systems.<br><br><b>Recent Publications, Presentations, & Grants </b><br><br>Schrodt LA (PI), Enhancing Student Learning Through Academic-Community Partnerships.
