Biography

Dr. Grappendorf is a Professor in Sport Management at 蘑菇短视频. Before arriving at WCU, Dr. Grappendorf was an Associate Professor, and Graduate Coordinator at the University of Cincinnati. She holds a PhD from the University of New Mexico in Sport Administration. Dr. Grappendorf has taught a variety of sport management undergraduate and graduate courses. She has published near 50 articles, 15 book chapters, and has numerous national and international presentations.

Teaching Interests

Dr. Grappendorf teaches a variety of classes including Introduction to Sport Management, Global Issues in Sport, Sport Media, Diversity and a graduate level Administration & Governance class.

Research Interests

Dr. Grappendorf research interests are related to how prescribed gender roles impact women's careers in sport management and leadership.
