Biography

I have 46 years of experience as a registered nurse. My clinical background is adult oncology. Most of my career has been spent in leadership positions. For the past 18 years, I have taught master's students in nursing leadership and nursing education.<br><br>I currently serve as the Program Director for the Nursing Leadership, Nurse Educator, and Post Licensure programs at Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ.

Teaching Interests

I teach in the Masters in Nursing Leadership program. I teach a variety of leadership courses including organizational theory, quality improvement, strategic planning, communication, finance, health policy, human resources, and leadership practicums. I also teach core graduate courses in the Nurse Educator program.

Research Interests

My research interest is in the area of emotional intelligence of nurse administrators as well as a variety of leadership topics.
