Biography

I am from WNC and have taught at 蘑菇短视频since 2016. I have a diverse academic background including general psychology, sport and exercise psychology, and health and human performance. I am also a trained tobacco treatment specialist. I consider myself to be an exercise enthusiast, avid traveler, and long-term sports fan. I am passionate about what I do and aim to bring that into the classroom.

Teaching Interests

My teaching interests encompass health from an ecological perspective. I firmly believe we must look at the whole person in relation to treating health, which means the physical to the mental.

Research Interests

My interests reside with obesity prevention and treatment in rural communities embedded in Southern Appalachia.
