Biography

John Seefeldt is an Associate Professor of Design at Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ in the School of Art and Design. John has previously taught at Loyola University in New Orleans. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of North Carolina at Asheville and a Master of Fine Arts from Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ. His research interests are in experience and interactive design. John’s work is informed both by research and a speculative design approach. His most recent work leverages interactive media such as virtual and augmented reality, in conjunction with new and traditional fabrication techniques. Whether designing experiences or physical products John’s goal is to bring an audience into a conscious relationship with their environment and communities.
