Biography

Originally from Miami, Florida, I have resided in Jackson and Swain counties for the past thirty years. I have earned both my B.S. and MAEd in Communication from WCU. My interests include home restoration and educational attainment.

Teaching Interests

I presently enjoy instructing Foundations of Communication, User's Guide to Communication,Public and Mediated Communication, and Small-Group Communication. I would actively engage in any Communication course that my department feels I am capable to instruct.

Research Interests

I am extremely interested in individuals with learning disabilities having access to higher education. Further areas of research that interest me are Gender Teacher/Student Relationships.
