Biography

Professor Thompson holds a B.S. in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and an M.S. in Sport Business from Temple University. She is currently completing her Ph.D. in Sport Administration at the University of Louisville. Her professional background spans college athletics, professional sports, and nonprofit sport organizations. She has held roles in academic advising for student-athletes, business office and internal operations, and ticket sales. This diverse experience informs her teaching and research, allowing her to bridge theory and practice in sport management education.
