Grandroom layouts can be tailored to your needs and feature views overlooking the Central Plaza.

Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ’s centrally located academic buildings offer a range of classroom sizes and features to support your group’s needs. During the summer, Coulter, Forsyth, and Killian are available for use, each conveniently located in the heart of campus.

Clients seeking a smaller auditorium often choose the Coulter Recital Hall. This 440-seat concert venue is ideal for gatherings, large keynote speakers or presentations, and performances. Technical assistance, while not required, may be reserved through the University Center.

The picnic area, located by the softball field, is the ideal place for events such as cookouts, reunions, birthday parties, and more! Activity Spaces

Inside the Campus Recreation Center, guests will find two group exercise and multipurpose studios equipped with full-length mirrors and equipment for yoga and fitness workshops. The facility also includes two multipurpose courts that can be configured for basketball, volleyball, and other activities, as well as a three-lane indoor jogging and walking track, with each lap measuring one-eighth of a mile.

Additionally, adventure seekers can explore one of the most extensive climbing walls in UNC System. The wall features 1,500 square feet of climbing surface and rises 50 feet, offering routes for both first-time climbers and experienced participants. A bouldering arch is also available for skill-building without the need for a belay.

Outdoor recreation opportunities extend beyond the facility. The Intramural Fields, with two convenient locations, can accommodate flag football, softball, soccer, rugby, and other activities. During the summer months, these fields are available for reservation.  Additionally, the Catamount Links, WCU’s 18-hole disc golf course, is open for casual play.

Guests can rent Reid Pool for recreation or special events. In the past, groups have hosted activities like Battleship and inner tube water polo. Please note that the pool is closed for part of the summer due to steam maintenance.

Reid Gym is also available for guest use and is a great space for activities such as basketball or dodgeball tournaments.

Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵalso offers extensive walking, biking, and hiking options right on campus. The trail system includes 6.8 miles of narrow trails designed for hiking and mountain biking.
