New Employee Orientation is held once a month and serves as an introduction to the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ community. During your new hire intake, you’ll receive your assigned orientation date and time. A few days before the session, you’ll also receive an email with specific details and reminders. Orientation includes an overview of WCU’s history and culture, a campus tour via CatTran, and sessions designed to help you feel connected and prepared for your new role. Breakfast and lunch are provided, and the day concludes with a Benefits Orientation led by our Benefits team.

All faculty and staff are welcome and encouraged to take advantage of the professional development opportunities we offer.

Once registered, you’ll be added to a Canvas course. If the course offers multiple date options, use the Groups link within Canvas to sign up for the session that best fits your schedule. After you’ve registered, the Training and Development Manager will contact you with additional information.
