ĢƵ’s fully online Graduate Certificate in Project Management (PMC) offers top-quality, graduate-level training for mid-career project managers and other professionals who aspire to advance in their project management careers.

The PMC is a 12-credit hour program advancing your project management skills through online learning and research. You will receive a proven and collaborative approach to learning that mirrors the demands of a real cross-functional business environment.

What You'll Learn

The Graduate Certificate in Project Management is designed as a type of “boot camp” for those interested in the field of project management and want to expand their understanding. The program offers top-quality, graduate-level training for mid-career project managers and other professionals who aspire to advance in their project management careers. 

Learn from deeply engaged faculty with years of experience as educators and thought leaders in the project management field. Our faculty members have doctoral degrees and PMP certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) and/or Lean Six Sigma. We provide students with an affordable, high-quality education that carries all the prestige of the UNC system.

Where You'll Go

Students graduating from the PMC program will be prepared to step into roles that support or lead projects across business, healthcare, technology, government, and nonprofit sectors. With strengthened skills in planning, communication, and team coordination, students can pursue opportunities such as project coordinator, project manager, operations specialist, or team lead. This certificate also positions students for advancement within their current organizations by demonstrating readiness to manage complex initiatives and contribute to strategic goals.
