Online MS(N) Nurse Educator
A Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in nursing education helps nurses
develop strong teaching skills and a deeper understanding of how to support learners.
It builds knowledge in communication, curriculum design, and evidencebased teaching, preparing graduates to educate future nurses in both classroom and clinical
settings. This degree also opens doors to new career paths and strengthens the nurse’s
ability to improve learning, support the workforce, and positively influence patient
care. The online program prepares nurses for the role of nurse educator with competencies
in three educational areas:academic educator, staff educator, and patient educator.
Virtual MS(N) Information Sessions are offered via Zoom twice a semester at 5:00 PM
EST. Sessions are hosted by the Graduate School Faculty and Staff, who will give a
brief presentation followed by a Q&A period. 
The MS(N) Sessions for 2026 will be held on the dates listed below. Please  for the information sessions via the . This will allow us to send you a reminder the day of the session and track how many
attend these events. The Zoom link for the session is also at the top if you forget
to RSVP before the session.
2026 Dates: April 9, June 4
Once you have registered,  and join your session 5-10 minutes before the 5:00 pm start time.  Each session typically
runs 45-60 minutes long.
