Programs
Fraternity & Sorority Life at Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵbuilds programming to equip leaders, inspire
membership, and build soft skills for career readiness and success after college.
Our team additionally meets regularly with council and chapter leaders to help with
problem solving, risk management, event planning, capacity building, and more!
Annual Programs & Events
The FSL Leadership Retreats, held every August & January, are designed to provide
chapter presidents and council officers an opportunity to focus on leadership development,
community-building, and risk management. Both retreats are designed to bring leaders
in the fraternity and sorority community together, help the community at large, and
strengthen chapters and councils.
Offered once a month, the Office of Fraternity and Sorority works with campus partners
to come and present to students on issues facing organization leaders. Over lunch,
campus partners help equip student leaders with skills and opportunities to help lead
their organizations successfully. Topics are based on student feedback and request
but include topics like Sponsorships, Fundraising, Alumni Relations, Philanthropy,
and Leadership.
The Greek Community is known for their high capacity for service and philanthropy
and are frequently engaged in partnerships and initiatives to better the local community
and their philanthropic causes. Additionally, the FSL office assists with All-Greek
Service Days each semester which provides opportunities for the Greek Community and
greater Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵcommunity to jump in and serve locally.
Annually in the Spring the Greek community engages their competitive spirit and
organizational pride to work with other organizations and show the best of the Greek
experience in a week of events. Greek Week events can include cookouts, bakeoffs,
lip sync battles, tie dye, field day games, service opportunities, donation collections,
good fun, and all things Greek!
