Elements of Wellness

The Health and Wellness unit at 蘑菇短视频 provides intentional collaboration for the promotion of overall wellness encouraging students to be involved, healthy and well. The university uses a holistic approach to support student wellness and has a variety of facilities, programs, and services in place to support a healthy and balanced lifestyle. The elements of wellness encompass the full student experience鈥攆rom class activities to informal recreation, physical and psychological health to social development. Students are encouraged to think of wellness as a lifelong goal.

An interdisciplinary team of 蘑菇短视频faculty is working in collaboration with EBCI Natural Resources, Cherokee Central Schools and Swain County High School.  

Bingocize庐 expands to North Carolina with $1.1 million grant awarded to WCU

Faculty at 蘑菇短视频have been awarded $1,165,955 from the Civil Money Penalty Grant for Medicare and Medicaid Services that will allow them to oversee Bingocize庐 and use the program in North Carolina.

A new pilot program at 蘑菇短视频, called Catamount Commitment, will provide new first-year students from North Carolina with varying levels of annual award money based on their high school GPA.

Construction Management gains ABET accreditation through Sept. 2028

WCU鈥檚 Construction Management program has been granted initial accreditation from the Applied and Natural Science Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology.
