Important Summer Session Dates

Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµSummer Session is split into multiple parts-of-term. When you register for classes, make sure that your class won't overlap with your summer job or vacation plans. 

In addition to the sessions listed below, travel classes and other special opportunities (such as internships, student teaching, clinicals, etc.) will have unique start and end dates. Talk with your professor to confirm dates and expectations for these classes.

* The Summer Bridge program is a 5-week program designed to help students get a head start on their Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµdegree in a supportive community environment. Paying for Summer Classes

We understand that paying for summer classes can be confusing! If you don't see the answer you're looking for, you can contact the Summer Session Office and we'll get you in touch with someone who can help.

Yes! For the most up-to-date information on summer tuition and fees, visit the Summer Tuition and Fees page. Summer tuition rates will be posted once they are approved by the UNC System Office.

Payment is due on the first day of each class, based on its Part-of-Term as shown on your bill.

Unfortunately, payment plans are not available for summer classes.

Yes! You can use leftover financial aid from the 2025/2026 academic year to pay for Summer 2026 classes. For more information, please contact the Office of Financial Aid.

While there are not summer-specific scholarships, Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµsometimes has access to grant funding to help offset summer tuition costs for some students. Make sure you're monitoring your email over the Spring semester for any announcements about these opportunities.
