The Psychology Department at Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ offers one of the largest
undergraduate majors at the university. Students can also minor in psychology.
In addition, three graduate degree programs are offered, including Specialist in School Psychology, a Masters in Psychology with a track in Clinical Psychology and a Doctorate of Psychology.

Undergraduate Programs & Resources
The B.S. in Psychology at Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµprovides students with a strong foundation in human
behavior, mental processes, and research methods. The program emphasizes critical
thinking, ethical practice, and hands-on learning. Students gain practical experience
through research, internships, and applied projects.
The McKee Assessment and Psychological Services Clinic is also housed in the Psychology
Department. This is a state of the art clinic providing comprehensive psychological
services to members of the community and to Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµstudents.
Our faculty maintains expertise in multiple areas (e.g., clinical psychology, school
psychology, forensic psychology, evolutionary psychology, & developmental psychology),

Graduate Degree Programs
The M.A. in Psychology at Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµis a full-time, in-person program that provides advanced
training in psychological science and applied clinical practice. Students develop
strong foundations in assessment, research methods, psychopathology, and evidence-based
intervention, all grounded in the practitioner-scholar model.
The Specialist in School Psychology (SSP) program provides advanced training in
psychological science and applied practice within educational settings. Students build
strong foundations in assessment, research methods, consultation, evidence-based intervention,
and child and adolescent development.
The PsyD in Health Service Psychology at Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµprovides advanced professional training
in clinical and school psychology. Students develop expertise in assessment, intervention,
consultation, and evidence-based practice, all grounded in the practitioner-scholar
model.
