Announced in conjunction with Western Carolina’s football home opener back on Labor Day weekend, the Catamount Club, the Athletics department fundraising arm, is celebrating a milestone this year with its 50th year of operation. Randy Collins, dean of the College of Engineering and Technology at Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ, has been selected as a member of the executive committee and director of the Engineering Deans Council of the American Society for Engineering Education.

Universities and colleges across the United States are finding that an ever-increasing number of students on their campuses are dealing with a variety of mental health issues, ranging from anxiety and depression to thoughts of suicide.

A Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ instructor of management will be leading a weeklong entrepreneurship and leadership camp for underserved youth in Western North Carolina to help them get an early jump on learning some of the steps necessary for starting a business.
