The Brinson Honors College recently launched a new initiative designed to recognize current student leaders and build stronger connections with young alumni of the college through a project made possible by donors to the Fund for WCU.

Eighteen Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵstudents from five academic disciplines are exploring Jackson County’s built environment and ways it can be improved to benefit older adults living in poverty. Students met with participating faculty for a full-day retreat this summer as the project ramps up again this fall semester.
