Preparing Leaders for Healthier Communities

The Department of Integrated and Environmental Health Sciences prepares students to address the factors that shape health and quality of life in our communities. Through comprehensive academic study, applied learning, research, and community engagement, students develop the knowledge and skills to advance prevention, promote well-being, and create sustainable solutions to today's health challenges.

Our faculty are dedicated to student success, providing expert instruction, mentorship, and opportunities for meaningful collaboration. Students are encouraged to think critically, lead with purpose, and address complex health issues affecting individuals, communities, and the region.

Academic programs emphasize experiential learning through internships, research, community partnerships, and hands-on projects that connect classroom learning to real world practice. These experiences equip graduates with the skills, perspective, and leadership needed to make a meaningful and lasting impact in the communities they serve.
