Recruitment Opportunities
We sponsor several career fairs throughout the year that allow our employers to meet with a large volume of students in an exhibit hall setting. Career fairs are our most popular resource for employers to briefly talk to students about opportunities you have for various internships and careers. Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓÆµ is always open to partnering with new employers. These employer partners can be from all industries and encompass many different career paths and disciplines. Internships are vital to students' success in defining their career goals and learning necessary hands-on practical knowledge of their fields. Educate students about your company’s/organization’s mission, products, services, and the employment/internship opportunities you have available! Information sessions can be scheduled on the same day as a block of interview slots or as standalone events. Sessions are offered throughout the academic year and the best times to come are Monday – Thursday between 10am – 4pm. These can be offered in-person or virtually.

Tabling is a great way to increase visibility, develop brand recognition, and raise awareness about your company or organization. These tables allow you to interact with students throughout the day. We gladly offer this resource for employers throughout the academic year. We can reserve you and your organization a table in the University Center (UC) or other campus locations to market your organization and its opportunities. Outside locations are available when weather permits.

Host a drop-in event for students to have their resumes reviewed by you, the employer. Reviews are usually 15 to 30 minutes for each student. These can be offered in-person or virtually.

(OCI) allows employers to conduct interviews for jobs and internships within the CCPD. Our rooms are equipped with a desk, telephone, computer, and chairs. Our front desk will check students in and invite them to wait in our reception area until their scheduled interview time.

Mock Interviews are a great way to help students brush up on their professional skills while giving you a chance to meet students early in their career. These are often done in collaboration with a particular class or discipline. These can be offered in-person or virtually.

Some faculty are willing to allow employers into the classroom (virtually or in-person) to present on pertinent career topics and company/organization information. Presentations may be brief or for the entire class time, depending on the faculty's needs. The Career Center counselors will often bring employer partners with us for requested presentations. We cannot guarantee classroom presentations but will work collaboratively with you and our faculty partners to attempt to meet your needs.
