Shetland

Shetland Society Celebration

The annual Shetland Society Day Celebration is a special event honoring the generosity of Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ’s faculty and staff. The event offers heartfelt expressions of thanks, including the presentation of appreciation gifts, and creates meaningful opportunities for employees to support programs that strengthen every corner of campus. Members of the Shetland Society are faculty and staff who demonstrate their commitment to Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵnot only through their daily work, but also through their philanthropic contributions. Together, they help advance the university’s mission and enrich the student experience.

Philanthropy Luncheon

Catamount Philanthropy Day Luncheon

The Catamount Philanthropy Luncheon is a special gathering that honors the generosity powering student achievement at Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ. This signature event brings together our Planting Day Luncheon and Scholarship Luncheon into one inspiring program and highlights the stories, people, and philanthropic spirit that help shape our campus community. Attendees will hear uplifting testimonials from student scholars, celebrate the induction of new members into the Madison and Cullowhee Societies, and see firsthand how donor support strengthens both Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵand the broader Western North Carolina region. Whenever possible, donors will be seated alongside student recipients, encouraging authentic conversations and the exchange of experiences that bring the impact of philanthropy to life.
