The Legacy Pinning Ceremony celebrates students who are continuing a Western tradition as second-, third-, or even fourth-generation Catamounts.

During this special event, legacy students are presented with a commemorative legacy pin by their alumni family member, recognizing the lasting connection their families share with Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ and welcoming the next generation into the Catamount alumni family.

Note: We accept siblings, parents, aunts/uncles, grandparents, etc as your legacy. If the connection is important to you, we welcome you to join. 

Join other Catamount football alumni and friends in Cullowhee for a weekend of reconnecting and celebrating the tradition of Catamount Football. The weekend includes a Friday evening gathering and tour of the Western Skybox and Phillips Football Center, plus a football alumni tailgate on Saturday before Western takes on Tennessee Tech.

Support the Bob Waters Leadership Endowment Fund and honor Coach Waters at this annual tournament set against the scenic backdrop of Sequoyah National Golf Club, open to all alumni and friends.

Join fellow Catamounts this fall at Lazy Hiker Brewing in Franklin for a laid-back evening of good company, local brews and Catamount connections.

Spend a fall afternoon at Jeter Mountain Farm with fellow Catamounts! Pick apples, enjoy local food and cider, explore the farm and take in the mountain scenery while connecting with the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵcommunity.

Come home to Cullowhee for Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵHomecoming! Join us in downtown Sylva for the Homecoming Parade and Alumni Parade Party in downtown Sylva on Friday, then head back to campus Saturday for the Homecoming football game against Chattanooga. 

Join other Catamount baseball alumni and friends in Cullowhee during Homecoming Weekend for a weekend of reconnecting and celebrating the Catamount Baseball family. The weekend includes golf, a Purple/Gold World Series and cookout, plus a Homecoming tailgate and Home Run Derby before Saturday’s football game.
