Several members of the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ community recently accepted appointments on three of the institution’s top volunteer boards that provide oversight and advice in support of university philanthropic, athletics and engagement activities.

As the son of two athletes, a lifetime career in athletics could have seemed defined for Onno Steger. His mother was an ice skater and his father played collegiate basketball. But, his parents never forced him to become an athlete. He found his own way into sports.

As he came down from the stage and onto the floor Monday (Jan. 28) at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena for the New England Patriots’ portion of the 2019 Super Bowl’s Opening Night, former Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ defensive back Keion Crossen was all smiles.

In this edition of Cat Chats, we talk with Curtis Roach and Clyde Simmons. Clyde played for the Catamounts in the 1983 National Championship game and was drafted in the ninth round by the Philadelphia Eagles of the NFL.
