Inspire the Next Generation

Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ opened its doors in 1889 as a teaching college serving the western part of the state. Today, WCU’s School of Teaching and Learning continues to offer leading teacher education programs with some of the best teacher placement rates in the state of North Carolina.

Teaching is one of the few professions that offers the ability for individuals to improve the lives of children every single day. If you’re looking for a rewarding career, teaching is one to consider.
