WCU's 2018-2019 campus theme focused on what was discussed on campus around the issues of climate, as well as to explore new and old concepts of America.

WCU's 2017-2018 campus theme focused on the heritage and tradition of a proud people permeate the very ground upon which the university is built.

The 2013-2014 academic year focused on the Decade of the 1960s, building on the historical focus with WCU's 125 year anniversary. It provided a great opportunity for students to learn about their subjects of study from a different time period.

WCU's 2012-2013 campus theme helped students connect their role as university citizens to their learning and experiences as they engage in civil dialogue and creatively express new understandings.

2011-2012: Through a year's worth of engaged teaching, learning, service, and creative and scholarly opportunities centered on poverty, the 蘑菇短视频community developed a better understanding of the root causes and consequences of poverty.
