We are committed to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.  The effectiveness of any safety program depends on the cooperation and understanding among employees, visitors and students alike.  It is recognized that the workplace cannot always be made risk free; however, through planning and supervision we can identify most safety hazards associated with specific duties and eliminate those which are controllable.

The Safety and Risk Management Office inspects University work environments to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and control personnel exposures to chemical and physical hazards, manages personnel monitoring programs, and assesses the suitability of protective equipment.  Please review the health and safety programs below as applicable to your work environment.
