A person with short hair, wearing a green shirt and blue jacket, stands on a dirt ground with hands clasped. The background features a vibrant sunset sky with shades of pink and purple. Two large hawks are flying in the sky, one close to the person and another further away. There are plants with flowers growing from the ground near the person's feet. Step into a visual timeline that celebrates the 20th Anniversary of the Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵFine Art Museum through a dynamic exhibition showcasing decades of Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ's dedication to collecting and curating contemporary art. This special anniversary exhibition honors the Museum’s roots in the Belk and Chelsea Galleries, highlighting key moments from its early focus on studio glass and women artists to its evolving commitment to contemporary Native American voices. Visitors will encounter artwork from each chapter of the Museum’s history, reflecting the people, places, and priorities that shaped its collection. The exhibition also commemorates the Museum’s national accreditation by the American Alliance of Museums—an honor held by only a select group of university museums. With each work on view, the 20th Anniversary Exhibition invites you to experience the legacy and future of art at Ä¢¹½¶ÌÊÓƵ.
