Only one semester after having won a national search for a tenure-track position, the first-year faculty member must submit a reappointment file, followed in the same semester by an Annual Faculty Evaluation. Proposal 1: Move from an annual review to a third year review The third year review will take place in a candidates third year. The review will be conducted by the department collegial review committee, the department head, the college collegial review committee, the dean, and the provost. If necessary, the department head in consultation with the dean may request an administratively initiated review during any time in which a required review is not scheduled. This administratively initiated review will follow the same procedures as the third year review and candidates will have to submit a dossier by the tenth working day of the next semester to meet the requirement of timely notice. The review will be conducted by the department collegial review committee, the department head, the college collegial review committee, the dean, and the provost.
